Quincy Street Distillery is pleased to announce the release of our fourth batch of rum. We are still tweaking our formula with each batch, releasing limited bottlings of individual batches along the way. The retail price at our Retail Shop is $36 for a 750ml bottle of 90 proof (45% alc by vol) white (unaged) rum. Our rum is made from the fermentation of sweet dark molasses. It is single distilled in our copper pot still with 4 plates. We are striving for a flavor profile akin to Jamaican style rums, with pungent aromas and full mouth feel from a longer fermentation. Batch nos. 2 and 3 are currently aging in a small cask, so we look forward to tasting that in a few months.
